Why is this good? 18k tells you how much pure gold is plated on our jewelry. When it says 18 karat gold plated, it means that the golden layer which covers our jewelry contains 75% of pure gold. As 24K gold (pure gold) is too soft to use in jewelry creation typically, any jeweler will tell you that it is impractical and even rare to find jewelry made of it entirely. Hence, an alloy metal has to be mixed with the gold. The base metal we use to keep our jewelry pieces strong and durable for EVERYDAY wear is Stainless Steel.

Cleaning 18k Gold Plated Stainless Steel jewelry requires no special agent or tools. All you need is warm water, a cloth, and dish detergent. After cleaning, polish it lightly with a dry cloth to remove remaining water spots. Avoid antibacterial soaps. Do not store your gold plated jewelry items in your bathroom, or somewhere where it is humid. Stainless Steel does not tarnish however we advise keeping all jewelry items in dry environments.
